A Message From The CEO:

Staying true to our values of unity and empathy towards our team members at FYF, our customers and community are more important than ever. We would like to highlight how we feel about the current events; but more importantly, how we intend to support the movement against the horrific and inhumane treatment of Black people and Black communities that has gone on for decades. We know that none of this is new. It is systemic. We hope to learn, and do more, so that we can make a meaningful impact on equality and truly value ALL people.

As an organization, we are pledging to do better on diversity and inclusivity in order to cultivate a more trusting work environment and to positively affect the world at large. Employees should not only feel comfortable, but empowered to have the tough discussions that bring about positive change to an organization.

To foster this, we are pledging the following:

We will be making a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and to the North Star Fund.

We will institute an open door policy where employees can feel safe voicing concerns about social justice within the organization without any fear of reprisal. Additionally, supervisors will be encouraged to open these discussions within their teams on a regular ongoing basis. This will allow us to:

  • Be mindful of our own biases and take meaningful action to understand and mitigate them.
  • Move outside of our comfort zone to learn about the experiences and perspectives of others.
  • Share insights related to what we have learned and determine how our business can make a positive impact.
