North Las Vegas Flower Delivery

Send Flowers to North Las Vegas

We tend to think of Las Vegas as one place, but the iconic state capital is more of a city of cities. One of those, North Las Vegas, is rapidly expanding in the valley. Where it once housed 210 000 people in 2011, it’s home to 240 000 people today. The nickname “Sin City” belongs to the greater city. The famous Strip that earned it that title bisects Clark County, separating South and North Las Vegas. The North originally had another name when pioneers moved there in the 1920s: Vegas Verde. Today, it’s a city in its own right, and no one could ever call it boring!

Built in 2003, Aliante is a master-planned community made up of around 20 000 residences. The neighborhood is relatively young, having only been completed in 2012, but it's one of the most attractive places to stay. There’s an amphitheater, a casino, and 428 acres of public recreational space to enjoy.

Even younger than the neighborhood of Aliante are the Villages at Tule Springs. Even as they’re being developed, the Villages occupy a beautiful niche between the established Aliante and Eldorado neighborhoods.

The Villages offers plenty of fun for families by way of Seastrand Community Park. Here, everyone can enjoy facilities from baseball fields and tennis courts to walking trails and a waterfall.

Popular attractions in North Las Vegas

Who says the Strip is the only place to be in the city? North Las Vegas offers so much more.

Known as “Dinosaur Park” to locals, Aliante Nature Discovery Park is an adventure like no other. Kids can enjoy a dinosaur-themed playground packed with fun features, and might even find “fossils” buried in the sandbox.

Of course, no racing enthusiast visiting the city can resist the home of NASCAR racing in Nevada: the Last Vegas Motor Speedway. The racing season kicks off with the Daytona 500 and goes on to host everything from NHRA drag racing events to the South Point 400.

When it comes to food, there’s something for every pallet. Enjoy authentic southern cooking at EllaEm's Soul Food, or try the Japanese curry at Tokyo Cafe. North Las Vegas is a melting pot of people and tastes, and nothing proves that like its diverse food culture.
