The second is Veramonte's 2007 Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, grown in Chile's Casablanca Valley and also rated an impressive 91 points. Known as the premier place in the Southern Hemisphere to grow Sauvignon Blanc, the region is famous for grapes that ripen to perfection with rich fruit flavors complemented by lively acidity.
